A woman’s first novel about sex, and a man’s first book about gender.
It was only a matter of time until the world had a writer who could say, ‘I am a woman’, and who would be seen as the face of a new generation of female writers.
The first-time author and feminist, Yashwant Sinha, wrote the novel I Am A Girl in 2007, in which the main character is a woman and her partner is a man.
Sinha says her main goal in writing the book was to change the way people think about women, and how they should view their own gender.
Sinha, a law student and a graduate of Mumbai’s Jawaharlal Nehru University, said she had to fight hard to get published.
She had to prove to her father, a businessman, that her novel would make money, and to her friends that her writing was a positive step towards change.
The author is known for her feminist and politically correct writing, which has won her praise from across the political spectrum.
She was once asked if she was a woman, and when she responded, ‘Yes’, she was shouted down by some colleagues.
In her book, Sinha’s heroine is an aspiring writer who has been in love with her husband, a doctor.
She starts a relationship with the man, but his life spirals out of control, leaving her feeling abandoned and in pain.
When she is finally able to break it off, she returns to her husband and is married off to him.
The protagonist, however, doesn’t have a wife.
She is an artist, and has two husbands.
Sinhas book deals with issues of gender inequality and sexual violence against women in India.
“It was the beginning of a very long journey for me,” she told The Telegraph.
“I was always very hesitant about writing a book about sex.
It was a very difficult journey.
It took me three years to write the book.”
Sinha said she wrote I Am Woman as a response to her own experiences.
“For me, I wrote it as a reaction to what I was feeling, and also to what was happening to me,” Sinha said.
“What I felt, what I thought was happening, what was really happening to my life, was actually something very much happening to millions of women across India.”‘
I Am’ is the first novel to explore gender inequality in India and its impact on women.
“My aim in writing I Am was to help women of all ages understand that there are people who are hurting, and that there is power in listening,” Sinhass said.
It is about a woman who is married to a man who is abusive to her.
The woman’s daughter is also a domestic help and the husband’s wife is the mother of her children.
The novel takes place in rural India, where the story is told through flashbacks and the voices of the survivors.
“Women are told that if they go to the police, they will be abused and murdered,” Sinhas said.
“It is a sad reality.
I am talking about the reality in India today.”
Sinhas daughter, Ritu, is raped by her husband.
“I felt that my life was in danger, my whole world was in fear.
So I was very afraid of telling my story,” Sinas said.
The novel is set in a rural village in Gujarat, where people from different parts of the society live together in small towns and villages.
“The woman has no voice in the village, but the men do,” Sinhapas daughter said.
When Ritu gets a job in a factory, she meets her boyfriend and is forced to marry him.
“In a village where there is no voice, I found that it is a very lonely place,” Sin-ha said of her story.
It is important to tell these stories.””
Women don’t get the attention that men get, they are often overlooked.
It is important to tell these stories.”
Sin-ha was raised in an affluent family in Mumbai, where she studied at an elite private college and went on to a university.
She also wrote a novel, The Girl with the Black Hair.
Sinhas was educated at the Delhi Institute of Social Sciences and later at the Jawahal Nehri University.
After graduating, she went on a short stint in publishing.
She later moved to Delhi and completed her PhD in Gender Studies at the University of Toronto.
In 2014, she started a new career as a teacher, writing and speaking on issues of women’s rights and women’s issues in India, as well as other subjects, such as women’s health, women’s violence and family issues.
The book, ‘India’s Women: An Illustrated History’, was published by Penguin India in 2016.
